We currently have an exciting opportunity within our Support Office for an Operational Security Manager to join our IT team. This vital role will be responsible for the provision of Information & Operational Security Services for Specsavers within the region.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
•    Providing Operational Security services for Specsavers within the APAC region
•    Contributing to the development and integration of the Global Security Information and Event Management System
•    Enhancing existing Vulnerability Management, and Security Dashboard tools and processes to extend coverage and give better definition of threat vulnerability for Specsavers
•    Helping develop solutions and pull through complex issues across the information security landscape, working with IT and business teams to develop solutions that address root causes
•    Managing and contributing to the provision of secondary services such as break/fix support for security tools where required within the APAC region
•    Working with key Specsavers third party suppliers to ensure that their service provision is operating in a secure manner at the performance levels agreed within their contracts
•    Planning, managing and reporting on the work being carried out, balancing BAU work with service improvements, prioritising work ensuring that they and others are not becoming overloaded

About You

The Operational Security Manager will report to the Head of Threat, Vulnerability and Response Service Improvement Manager, and will possess the following skills:
•    Extensive experience in information security across vulnerability management, security configurations and metrics/dashboards
•    Hold a formal information security qualification
•    Demonstrable experience within Information Security Response Management, at a leadership level
•    Strong Experience in vulnerability Management tools such as Qualys, nCircle IP360, McAfee Foundstone, Tenable Nessus etc
•    Desirably hold experience within the IT industry within a retail environment
