Optical Assistant

You will be an integral part of a busy store environment and very important to our customer service journey. Our Optical Assistant pride themselves on their product knowledge and customer service.

Key information

Optical Assistants are a key part to the store team. Whether you are meeting and greeting customers, providing advice on our products or placing specialised orders. You will provide expert advice to our customers on our range of fashionable frames and guide those who are trying contact lenses for the first time.

Every customer is different

As an Optical Assistant you will see number of customers throughout the day with differing needs and wants. You will need to be able to work in a team environment and provide solutions and guidance on our products and services. To support you in meeting our customer needs, you will have continuous support from our Joint Venture Partners.

It is all about the customer

While some clinical experience would be handy, we can teach you everything you need to know. The most important thing we look for are people that are passionate about delivering high levels of customer service and building long term relationships. In return, we offer a supportive and fun working environment and ongoing training and development.

After an initial pre-screen, those that are shortlisted will have a telephone interview

If you’re shortlisted by the store, you’ll be invited to a  group interview or a store-based interview which could  also include a psychometric questionnaire

If you’re successful at interview stage, a reference check will be conducted.

An employment contract will be sent out to you via post.
